This book with it’s 256 pages and lots of photo’s is a pleasure to read for anyone interested in the history of kimono, the different types, the motifs, weaving techniques, the family crests, the accessories they need and so on.

In collaboration with the ‘Ethnic Chic team’ we have made a wonderful Christmas scenery fully upholstered in Rubelli silks in the most beautiful patterns and colors. All the silk houses and stars were finished with Indian passementerie , which made it in combination with the silks a sparkling and chic decor. It was a great experience making and installing this project with Ethnic Chic.

Museum Market Amsterdam

A designers market right in front of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Studio Carolina Breuer will show some beautiful kimono lamps , but also some hand-marbled silk lampshades.
